The Nutrition Facts label expresses many nutrients as a percentage of a Daily Value (DV). The reference values are designed for label comparison and general nutrition context.
Feed Love uses the same reference values when it shows %DV. Individual needs can differ, so these percentages are not personalized targets.
A contribution view answers a different question: which ingredient supplied the nutrient inside this recipe.
As a general label-reading shortcut, FDA guidance treats 5% DV or less as a low amount and 20% DV or more as a high amount per serving. Feed Love uses those ranges only as label context.
For nutrients without a %DV on the U.S. label, Feed Love keeps the amount visible but avoids inventing a percentage.
